The Lamborghini Aventador LP 700-4 Roadster has been unveiled today, officially bringing the world's fastest production road car into existence.
This is the first time that Lamborghini has launched a roadster version of its flagship model, having previously only produced coupé versions of the supercar.
The company says the design was inspired by the 1960s Italian sports cars like the Ferrari 250 GTO and Maserati Ghibli.
It features a carbon-fiber monocoque chassis, a 6.5-liter V12 engine producing 740bhp, all-wheel drive, and a top speed of 217mph.
