1. Tesla Model 3 has been named after the American inventor Nikola Tesla. He was a Serbian-American physicist, engineer, mechanical and electrical innovator, and futurist. He invented many devices that have had a great impact on our daily life, including the rotating magnetic field, the polyphase system, the coherer, the radio, fluorescent lighting, AC power distribution, and the modern electric motor.

2. Tesla’s first model of an automobile was called “The Roadster”. Though he never built a production version of this car, his design influenced numerous manufacturers around the world, including General Motors, Daimler-Benz, Mazda, Volvo, Mitsubishi, Toyota, and Volkswagen.

3. In 2003, Tesla was granted several patents for inventions related to wireless electricity transfer using electromagnetic induction.
