1. Tesla Model 3 has been named after the American inventor Nikola Tesla. He was a Serbian-American physicist, engineer, mechanical and electrical innovator, and futurist. He invented many devices that have had a great impact on our daily life, including the rotating magnetic field, the polyphase system, the coherer, the radio, fluorescent lighting, AC power distribution, and the modern electric motor.
2. Tesla’s first model of an automobile was called “The Roadster”. Though he never built a production version of this car, his design influenced numerous manufacturers around the world, including General Motors, Daimler-Benz, Mazda, Volvo, Mitsubishi, Toyota, and Volkswagen.
3. In 2003, Tesla was granted several patents for inventions related to wireless electricity transfer using electromagnetic induction. His patent applications included several concepts for energy transmission through the use of capacitors and coils. These concepts were later developed into practical products used today.

One of his greatest contributions to humanity was the invention of alternating current (AC) motors, which greatly improved the efficiency of electric motors. 5. Tesla's cars are known for their electric powertrain that allows them to travel at speeds up to 200 mph (322 km/h). This type of propulsion system requires less maintenance than internal combustion engines, allowing owners to avoid costly repairs.
6. A battery pack is located inside the car and can store enough energy to power the vehicle for up to 300 miles (482 km), depending on how fast the driver is driving.
7. The Model 3 has been designed with three different trim levels: Standard ($35,000-$65,000 USD), Performance ($53,000-$63,000 USD) and Long Range ($78,000-$88,000 USD).
8. According to Consumer Reports' annual survey, the 2019 Tesla Model 3 was ranked 1st out of 16 vehicles tested.
9. The top-rated vehicles were the Toyota Prius Prime, Ford C-MAX Energi, Honda Clarity Fuel Cell, Hyundai Ioniq Electric, Kia Soul EV, Nissan Leaf, Subaru Crosstrek, and Volkswagen e-Golf.
10. Tesla's Model 3 was awarded the highest possible rating from J.D. Power & Associates.
